All-inclusive 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari Package Uganda

Rise up early and have a hearty breakfast at the lodge to fuel your energy for the anticipated adventure, the Uganda gorilla trekking experience. Don’t forget to go with your packed lunch as the time spent trekking the amazing mountain gorillas is not known.

Your guide will then drive you to park headquarters where you will receive a comprehensive briefing by the park rangers about the gorilla families, their behavior and the essential gorilla trekking guidelines to ensure a safe and eco-friendly/respectful encounter.

After the briefing, you will be divided into small groups of 8 people led by experienced park rangers and gorilla trackers and be assigned to a specific gorilla family/group to track. 

Embark on the exclusive hiking experience into the impenetrable forest at around 8am accompanied by rangers following mountain gorilla trails. Gorilla trekking is unpredictable as it depends on the location and movement of the gorillas, but once tracked, you will appreciate every step taken into the jungle.

While following the park rangers’ guides and rules shared earlier, you will a full hour to see gorillas up close and personal in their natural habitat and learn about the their unimaginable fascinating lives.

Gorilla trekking is one of the most exciting and rewarding wildlife experiences in Uganda and the most stunning activity in Bwindi impenetrable forest that will leave you with thrill of a lifetime. Gorilla trekking tour may be a tiresome activity and it needs one to be fit to do it though highly rewarding as you trek through the forest.

After going back to the lodge relax around the lodge or visit the Batwa community who will guide through their culture through music, dance and storytelling, later have dinner and rest at the booked lodge.

Alternatively, you can opt for a canoe riding experience on either lake Bunyonyi or Lake Mutanda, this depends on which sector you had your gorilla trekking tour from.
